I have an Arlo Pro VMC4030 that wont learn in.

I click Sync. Blue blink led.

I click search in app. Radar logo......camera's blue led suddenly blinks very rapidly.

It stops.

App says "no items were discovered"

Can anyone help me? These are an EOL product so Arlo themselves refuse to assist

Is this a camera you just purchased?  Or was this working for you earlier?

Ive had it working a while back, but it's been in storage. Now I want to set it up again

Can you try factory resetting the camera by Pressing and hold the Sync button on top of the camera for about 10-15 seconds until the LED blinks amber, then release. After that you can try charging the battery all the way or plugging in to ac power and trying to onboard as well. If none of this works, the camera appears to not be sending an RF signal to initiate the process.

Unfortunately that procedure won't work with the VMC4030.  All you can do is remove the battery for a bit.

@Wiresplus Did you happen to have the base station installed from storage too or you are just attempting to install the Pro camera?

Ok

Base station is and has been working for years

This one camera came with the set of 4, and I just tried to fire it up

I haven't had a chance to try the camera reset yet, I'll let you know

I misread the model camera, that reset procedure will not work for the Pro series, they do not have a traditional factory reset capability like newer generations. Have you tried this yet?
