Using my ARLO system in a very dusty environment

I have an Arlo Pro system that my wife and I are using at a house in the country that we recently bought. We are not monitoring the inside of the house, but rather the outside - to keep track of anyone (or anything) who might wonder across our property.

We have decided to do a fairly extensive remodel on this house - replacing all of the ceilings, ripping up the carpets and some other projects inside the house. We expect to create a fair amount of dust and dirt in the air.

We want to keep the system going during the renovations without having to take it out-of-service each time we start work and then putting it back in service when we finish for the weekend.

I was thinking that perhaps there is some type of dust-proof box that I could put the Arlo base unit into along with my internet modem that would allow me to leave it plugged into the wall with power but would not prevent the system from operating.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks

Martin

If you are going to put the base in a box for the dust... then use a large box made of cardboard and tape it closed... it will be less obstruction for the signal.

In truth tho I wouldn't worry about it as there are really no moving parts in the base , I would just blow it out after a week or two with compressed air to eliminate the dust that may settle inside.
