Hello! First post, hopefully the community can supply me with a solution to my issue! I have the Arlo Pro, base and cameras. It’s a 4 camera system. I’ve plugged a 16gb usb memory into the base, to use as video storage backup. The problem is that it only works for about 12 hours... then the usb stick disconnects. A reatart of the base station fixes the issue, but obviously, that is not a working solution.

Does anyone else know about this issue?

I will get myself a new usb stick to make sure it’s not the stick that is causing the issue. But if anyone have heard about this before, please let me know.

John.... your the first, have not seen this before.

((btw, you mention a Pro base, but model in byline is Arlo which does not support USB ))

Just a couple of things, did you format the stick to FAT32?

Was it formatted in the base or computer?

The only way to test is as you mentioned...try another speed stick

The easiest way to know if you drive is connected is from the live view screen, it shows up as a speed stick icon if active.

( next to battery )

The only issues I've heard of is when users try to use a memory card in a usb adapter... several users have had issues due to this.

Thanks for your reply!

Yeah, my mistake, it’s the PRO base, not the standard, I misread the modelnumber when posting and now I cannot edit. So, I have the PRO. Just to be clear.
It has worked, and does work for a short period of time. Have tried to format the stick in the base, to no avail.

I will try with a new USB stick and see whats what! Will let you know!
