Please help.
Problem is 2step verification. It’s set up via my mobile, but I have not been unable to use the verification via my laptop /web browser, either through notification, sms or email.
I get an error that says "Http failure response for https://ocapi-app.arlo.com/api/startauthorization: 0 unknown error"

Hey Ikeokwu,
Have you tried clearing your cache/cookies on your browser to see if that might help? Are you also seeing this error on the Arlo app on your phone device?

Hi Jessica,
I get this error on my laptop.
No problem with my mobile which is the trusted device, and via which all verification -device, sms, email, were set up. I get same error no matter which verification method I choose, I never get any verification code sent.
I have tried different browsers - same results.
But I have not tried clearing the cache/cookies. Will try this.
Thanks,

Hello again,
Just cleared cache and cookies data. Still getting same error either with notifications, sms or email.
It's inexplicable since I reliably get notifications on the mobile from the cameras, and also emails from the Arlo community.

Have you tried on incognito mode or trying on a different browser?

Have tried both Firefox and Google. I suppose I will try MS Edge also. Will also look at the incognito mode.
Just wonder why no one else seems to have experienced this same challenge. All started after the 2 step verification activation.

Hi, JessicaP,
Just trying to confirm that you received my private chat some two days ago, after as you suggested, I tried both Private browsing, other browsers as MS Egde, and different data networks. Other details requested were also provided.
I'm still fishing for a solution, hope that Arlo itself can help. It is not as if I can simply disable the 2 step verification, since Arlo has set a deadline (I believe) for all users to adopt it for better security.
