i recently purchased (less than three weeks ago) the Arlo Pro series. One camera battery is already dead (well, 3%) and I have had it on charge for over two hours and it is now at 2%. I tried shutting it off to see if it will charge faster and still nothing. The second camera is stating that it is offline. I tried to resync it but with no success. I removed it completely. I was searching troubleshotting and found that the amber light blinked when trying to sync so I figure that the battery is also dead. I have three other cameras, again, purchased and put up at the same time and one is at 88%, one is at 82% and the last on is at 46%. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Two of the three that are still working were kept inside. The other one was outside.
Of the two that are not working, the one that is still online, but not charging was outside and the one that is offline was kept inside.

Let's first try and make sure that the charger is working.
When you plug the USB cable into the camera does the blue led flash for a a few seconds and then go out?
While charging does the app show that the camera is charging?
Have you tried opening and then closing the battery door after a minute or two to reset the cameras?

When i plugged the usb in, an amber light blinked once and stopped.
I removed the battery and still nothing.
On the app, the battery indicator is amber. I am not sure if that means it is charging or not. but it is still at 2%

The charger that comes with the system puts out 9 volts required for charging.
Unless you cell phone charger is one of the dual voltage units designed with the Qualcomm quick charge features it will not charge the camera and could explain why you are getting the amber flash instead of the blue flash when you plug the charger in.
Try and use the factory supplied charger and USB cable.

Open battery door, pull pack, test with the the supplied charger and cable to see if if works without battery pack.
If it does , replace pack and re-plug in the supplied charger and cable... go to SETTINGS and it should show the battery as charging.
If you have a second Pro , you could switch battery packs and see if the 'bad' battery behaves the same in the other camera.
If so or if battery doesn't charge after about 2-3 hours, contact Netgear Support

I switched out batteries and the one camera works. The other camera that is offline, still will not resync, even with a fully charged battery (from a different camera. None of my cameras (5 total) will charge with the charger that came with the cameras.

You could test the supplied charger by using it to charge your phone however unless you phone has quick charge technology like some of the Samsungs you will only be testing the 5v portion of the charger but at least you will know that it's not toally dead.
It's probably time to contact Netgear support.
