Stopped receiving email and push notifications but receiving recordings. Tried rebooting.

Hi,

I'm running a VMB4000R3 with firmware 1.12.0.1_27940.

Cameras are arlo firmware 1.3.314.

I stopped receiving email and push notices on May 4th 2019.

The motion detection is working fine, the recordings are showing up in cloud storage except for May 5th and this morning

May 6th.

The email notices just started trickling in after a reboot of all equipment.

However, I'm still not receiving my notices to the arlo app.

I've rebooted all the equipment, including my cell phone.

Uninstalled and reinstalled the arlo app.

I allowed the push notifications during re-installation and denied the phone management .

I'm receiving notices from other apps on my phone.

How do I fix this problem?

I don't know the fix, but my Arlo system had the same problem starting about the same time as yours.

Update:

All recordings stopped overnight, cameras are still online and viewable.

Verify your schedule using both the app and a browser. Sometimes the app causes problems but the browser displays and sets the schedule properly. Also, for any schedule overnight, make sure the stop time is 11:59PM, not 12:00AM. A recent change seems to have made the schedule a problem when the stop and start times are the same.

Once again, a software update has messed up schedules. At the switchover from 11:59pm to 12am, the cameras go into disarmed mode. This has happened with previous software updates and is very frustrating. Running in the app vs the browser is no excuse. If anything, the app should be more solid than the browser, given the differences in some browsers. Last summer it took MONTHS to get a fix for this and it had been working until the latest update. This morning, I added a new entry in the schedule from 12am to 12:01am. This entry is one of the built in modes (armed). The first entry was originally a custom mode. After this, switching to schedule mode no longer switched the cameras to disarmed. It appears the first schedule after midnight causes an issue. We’ll see how this works going through the day and into tomorrow. Maybe an issue starting the day with a custom mode?
