New user,

spider caught spinning her web around our camera last night? How would stop this from happening again?

All you can do is sweep the area and keep an eye on it.  I've had several such recordings myself - I just go out with a duster and try to clean the area.

Spray some Talstar P around the area to keep the bugs away.

I had the same problem with spider webs, especially obsuring the view at night when the IR reflects off the fibres.

I've noticed it depends where you put the camera and also if you use the Pro cover with the hooded part or the original HD cover with the flat front.

I decieded to cut the hood off the Pro cover and that helped as the spiders have less to spin between.

I also used a piece of tissue paper on a long stick to clean one camera that was placed high up, but that got a bit too monotonous to do every day.
