Siren going off - Pro

Has anyone heard of the alarm/siren going off on its own?
A roommate & her boyfriend were in my home, I was away on business in a different time zone. The alarm went off & I did not activate it, I was asleep.
They unplugged it & called Arlo to be told that no way it would go off unless I activated it. Really???
So I'm wondering has anyone else had this happen?
This has caused quite the issue!
I also called Arlo once I was home & my only thought was its technology, it can't be perfect.
Also there was lightening & thunder the night it went off. I thought power surge maybe?

Have not heard of it before this over the last + year.... but lighting/power surges can do funny things to electronics.

Since they unplugged it there prob no way of knowing what the leds were showing or what state the base was in at the time
