Hi,
A year ago, our next-door neighbor (and tenant!) turned out to be a drug runner, which we learned when the sheriffs turned up in force to arrest him. He was released long enough to clear out his stuff, but left behind his (older) Arlo VMB4000 base station and cameras. Can we factory reboot it and attach it to a new account? Any chance the drug runner could still have access to it (tho' I think he's in prison now)? Obviously we don't want him ever seeing OUR house!

You can't do anything with the system unless he has removed all devices from his account. I would unplug the base and remove the camera batteries so it can't be accessed by anyone. The cameras could potentially be reused but not the base. Since it could be considered theft, beware of reusing/throwing away.
