I've been through many resets and restarts with my VMB3010r2 base station. Sometimes it says it wants a firmware upgrade. Sometimes it works for a week. Always goes back offline and the cycle repeats. I bought it Feb 2018. Should I replace it? Is it worth asking Arlo to replace it?

You waited too long to ask - it's a 1 year warranty in most places so replacement isn't possible.You can open a case with support to see if they have any suggestions. Otherwise, buy another base.
