regularly have to reset the base station as well as re-add the cameras every week when I go out of town.  I get plenty of notifications when I'm out of town but when I return, I have to do a whole reset.  I unplug the router....I reset the router....I reset the base station....EVERY week.  This is getting very, very irritating.  Is there perhaps "obsolescence" built into the older models or lack of support for older models that I'm encountering?  Thanks

Older systems have the same support as new ones. No difference.

It's not clear to me what you're resetting. Are you actually removing all devices from Settings, My Devices and setting up fresh? What are the LEDs on the base showing when offline? Returning home from a trip is no different than going grocery shopping as far as the Arlo system is concerned. At home you use your WiFi to access the servers and your system, away you would use cell service (or some hotspot or other WiFi network not youur own). At home, have you tried using both connection methods to see if there's a difference? Have you tried using the web client on a computer?

I tried doing a fresh reinstall. I removed all the devices and tried to add them back again. I am on the same network as the base station and I still can’t add the device. I have even restarted the router and still no luck.

Hi mermodfreres,

If you have to keep resetting your cameras/Base Stations every week, please contact the Support Team to further investigate this issue as you shouldn't need to reset that often. You will find several options for contacting support in the provided link.
