How can I make it record as soon as it detects a person?

thanks for the help but that is not what i am needing. I need to know if there is some sort of adjustment, I can make to the camera to capture the object or person before they have passed out of sight of the camera. the detections i get are teh back end of a person out of sight. that tells me it does not detect them until they reach the right side of the camera sight.

You can adjust the SENSE level in the mode your using....

But most of the time , good placement is required to get good video.

Sometimes it is better to place a camera where the walk into the FOV and it triggers off so walking away ( or while there ) you have a good video

Below is an Arlo camera that trigggers as they walk in so video gets at door and leaving ( as opposed to having cam at door for person walking straight in )

can i adjust the mode in the app?

Yes... ( on web or app...using web)

MODE/ your prob using ARMED/ ">" to edit

pick camera / edit ( ios uses a pencil for edit symbol )

then under "when motion detected" / edit and sense level is there

highr number is more sensitive , most of mine run about 90%

go back one page and SAVE or it will not stay at new setting
