I made a custom mode that would record clips when motion was dectected. I didn't want audio to be a trigger because I have cats that are vocal and would trigger unnecessary recordings. I guess what I'm asking/didn't realize... is not having audio detection on equate to not having audio recorded at all? Because the clips that were recorded due to motion dectection didn't contain any audio, though in fact there were sounds happening in said clips. So then I just went back to the time and date of the clip within my CVR footage and there was no audio either. This seems like something that needs to be better explained within features. I would of just turned on audio dectection too if I had known it was going to simply mute the mic function altogether. Any suggestions other than turning on audio detection and adjusting the sensitivity?
