Recording Logic / Minimum Record Time

 I know I can specify one of the two:

- Record while there is motion or audio.

- Record for X seconds/minutes.

Why can't we specify...

Record while there is motion/audio for a MINIMUM of X seconds/minutes.

This way.. the recording is not limited by either motion or time.. 

Is this possible?
