I have had a trouble free run for seven years. I have 2 Arlo Pro cameras running off battery and one on a solar panel in an out of reach location. As of mid April, my 2 battery cameras started rapidly discharging. Nothing has changed and they are in totally different areas of the house. One are sees very little action. At the time, I figured that it was a coincidence that the batteries had died at the same time, but they are old, so I accepted that. I could not find any genuine batteries for the cameras, but I found an Australian company that supplies OEM cameras and purchased these. I immediately found the same issue. When looking through the info on everything, I noted that the cameras have not been updated since 2021, but the VMB4000R3 was updated in April, around the time when the problem occured. I suspect this is the issue. Is there a way to revert to an older firmware, or is there a known issue with version VMB4000 - 1.21.1.0_4300_898b168?
Really annoyed as these are still very good cameras.

It's rather unlikely that the base's firmware update caused the problem but it's possible.
There have been a spate of recent issues with the legacy cameras that have been resolved by removing all devices from your account, hold the base reset button for >10 seconds until the LEDs flash amber and set the system back up as if new. Start with the base and then the cameras. No guarantees but it's helped a lot of folks.

Thanks for the tip. I did this with one camera today and I am monitoring them both. They are in a room together so they use minimum power to see if one is discharging faster than the other.
