My neighbor’s cat when missing and it was seen eating food in my driveway, so I placed one of my cameras on the food bowl and driveway area.. every night something has come to eat the food but has not been picked up on video.. it’s working because I watch my mail get delivered and I get alerts each time I go in and out of the garage.. what am I doing wrong? Is there a special setting to be set on? I’m trying to see if it’s her cat.. Thank you!!!

With animals that are smaller and give off less IR , you need to do two things.

1)get closer to subject

and/or

2) increase sense level

I've done my old cat on a small tripod to check on her eating at night... worked well.
