The very good article on icons https://kb.arlo.com/000062050/What-do-the-icons-in-the-Arlo-app-mean doesn't define two icons on the iPhone app:
- Red circle with a white triangle inside it
- Red circle with a while shield inside it.
The manual doesn't define them either

Thanks.

Figured it out. The red circle with a white triangle inside it indicates that there is a new feature -- you can set up an "Activity Zone" on that camera. If you click on that icon, it will go away. As suggested, that is a no doubt a firmware upgrade for the camera. Thanks, everyone, for the answers to my several questions!

The red circle with the shield icon is how to activate the siren.
I forget what the red circle with a triangle means. Where are you seeing this?

Siren, eh? Glad I didn't experiment with that button at 4 am this morning. I hope you have to hit something again to cofirm that action.
The red circle with a triangle is just to the left of the number that shows how many recordings are in the library for that camera.
Where is this stuff about the iPhone app documented? Not in the section about the app in the hardware manual that is currently posted online. The manual says that there is a button in the app called "Turn Siren ON" -- that must now be the shield icon. It also has the vague phrase: "If your base station model has a button on the top, you can use it to turn the siren off and on."

Ah, I see - my base station has a nearly invisible button with very tiny gray lettering "SYNC / SIREN OFF" on the top and a round array of holes for what must be a speaker on the back.
Thanks again.

I am not sure as I am not seeing this, but I believe the red icon with a triangle is a warning that there is a firmware update available.
