Power Adapter for Arlo Pro

Where and for how much is the power adapter to the wireless cameras.  NOT the charger for the batteries, but for the cameras themselfs so I can run them without the batteries and powered by a nearby outlet.  what are the specs?

The power adapter and the charger for the PRO camera is the same unit...

It is dual voltage to run and/or charge the battery.

Some mentioned a normal usb adapter would run the camera without the battery installed ( it woun't charge for sure ) but i haven't tested this so not sure.

I did test using a standard USB cell phone charger and it rnat the camera OK but will not charge the battery.

I tested useing a 5v 1.8A cell phone charger. I would not use enaything under 1A.

Arlo will be coming out with an outdoor power cable. Finally. No release date (coming soon) and it doesn't say how long the cable is, but it is progress for those of us who want to run Arlo Pro on A/C rather than batteries.

It is called the Outdoor Power Adapter (VMA4700)
