I have a strange problem with my Arlo Pro cameras. When an object travels from left to right, the recording starts a little after the object enters the camera screen. When an object travels from righ to left, the recording only picks up the very last second before the object exit the camera screen. I have tried playing with sensitivity but it did not help. This is happening on all 3 cameras. Has anyone experienced this issue and any solutions or suggestions? Thanks!

Here is one showing the beginning of the capturing from right to left. Moving from left to right is ok though. Thanks!

Left to right works better since the distance is shorter (the camera is angled). However, you're really trying to get too much scene with the road being visible. Even the sidewalk along the road is a stretch. I would rotate the camera down so that you see your walk to the door unless you really need to capture people walking along.

My wife wants to see who let their dog poop on the front lawn and does not clean up afterwards. So we would like to see the people on the sidewalk walking their dogs. We have another camera pointing at the front door already. Does it mean that the distance towards the right is too far for the camera to sense and start the recording? Is there anything that I should adjust? That's is the closest spot to mount the camera unless I mount on the fence but that would not look good. Thanks for your help!

Too far on the right would be my suspicion. The fence may not be ideal but if it's just a short term solution to cure the problem, it may be worth it. Others have also used birdhouses and even hollowed out fence posts to mount cameras for aesthetics and security.
