I have set up my system and when looking at the camera shots on my PC, I select mic to speak and the system tells me I dont have the latest Firefox or Chrome.  That my browser doesn't support the use of the mic.

I just updated both of them, and it still tells me that!  What should I do now?

Thanks!

What browser?  I suspect that the mic function needs Flash - is your Flash install the latest?  Does the browser support Flash?

I have the same problem using Safari on my Mac, but if I use the chrome browser it works fine.  I have the latest flash installed on Safari, so I don't think that's the issue.  I think they just didn't test the software fully with Safari before releasing it.

Almost every computer has a bit different setup due to updates, prgms, anti-virus, etc

At times I've seen only Chrome work, other times Fire Fox... both new installs too.

Lately for me Fire Fox has been working the best but as with all YMMV !

BTW, don't think Safari is one of the 'approved' browsers,... TMK, its Chrome, FFox, IE>v10
