Not able to grant access to another user

I recently had a Pro camera stop working. I replaced it with another Pro camera I had. It seems to be working as expected. However, when I attempted to grant access to the camera to another user, it doesn't work. I have other Pro camera on the network and they are working and the other user has access to those cameras.

I'm using the latest app (v 5.6.2_28827 release date 3/13/25). I take the following steps to grant access:

1 I select settings, people, admin.

2 I select the device I want to give access to 

3 I tap the save at the top of the page

The header of the page turns yellow and nothing else happens. When I touch the page, the yellow clears, but no access to the camera was granted.

Am I doing something wrong?

I could be wrong but only arlo knows.

 

Try removing the friend from your shared user list then adding again so they can accept the friend request again to update the shared devices.

Ok, I haven't tried that. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll reply with the results.

You may also want to restart the phone and reinstall the app.
