No mic audio from camera

I know many others had same issue and most had no outcome. I cant hear mic at camera or very muffled. I have removed whole system and app and started over, I have granted all permisions, mics enabled , volume up and firmware up to date. Tried restarts on Arlo system, had camera next to phone. Any input?

Not sure there's much you can do, as the microphone level in the camera can't be adjusted.

 

What camera model is this?  Does the camera have a skin?  Have you tried making a recording (so you can listen to the mp4 on more than one device)?

Arlo pro, audio from mic in app to camera is just vey quiet and worthless. Bums me out.
