Night vision stopped working at first battery recharge. Ideas to reactivate? All settings are as they should be.

Can you confirm that this is happening with a Pro (which is an older model)?  If it is a newer model - for instance a Pro 3 or Pro 4, it would be helpful to know that.

 

The low light threshold is higher than I'd like (resulting in some recordings with lower quality color, when I'd prefer a higher quality IR (Nightvision).  One test you could try is putting the camera in a really dark area (e.g. a closet, or a closed box), and disable the low-light color (if you have that setting) and the spotlight.  Then livestream, and see if Nightvision engages.

 

FWIW, this could be a hardware issue in the camera, so if you are in the seller's return window, you might consider exchanging it.
