I have downloaded the new app, followed the instructions, gone to add device but the system just looks and looks and never finds the camera's. Do I have to delete the camera's from the legacy app first? Why does the new app just automatically add the devices from the old app. Real pain this and a very short time frame to fix the problem as in 9 days I will not be able to access the system through the old app- very client 'un-friendly'.

The new app just sees what's already set up in your system, just as all other app updates have done. You don't need to add anything. If it's not working, try rebooting the phone, reinstalling the app and/or force closing the app and log in again.
