Hello,

Amazon are selling  the Netgear VMS3330-100EUS Arlo Smart Home (3 HD Security Camera Kit, 100 Percent Wire-Free, Indoor/Outdoor with Night Vision) - White (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00TDNYNN0?ref_=Oct_DLandingS_PC_NA_0&th=1) but I also want the Arlo Pro Base Station Add-On Unit with Built-In Alarm Siren for Wire-Free Cameras (VMB4000) by NETGEAR, White (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01NAVCUAU?ref_=Oct_DLandingS_PC_NA_1&th=1)

First of all are these compatible with one another and also if I am buying a separate base station with the alarm does that make the base station that comes with the 3 camera kit obsolete? Or do I need to have 2 base station running together?

All Arlo wireless cameras are compatible with all Arlo base stations.  

You can sell the unused base or use it to enhance signal strength if you have a large spread between cameras.
