Needing to do system update almost everyday to use live view feature?

Model: VMS4430P-100NAS

 

Needing to do system updates almost every day to be able to use the live view feature. What the hell everything working great until some sort of update was done and now every day I am getting a notice on my phone app (update available) and until I install the update, I cannot get live view to work.  System is used to monitor remote location.  

system installed two years ago and was working great, 4 cameras are attached to system, 3 cameras are hard wired to an arlo power source the other is on an arlo solar panel. 

 

Router or service provider changed in the last 4 years:  No 

Distance to cameras:     Max. distance for two cameras 50 feet

Power:  router and cameras have a backup power supply

As noted in the Firmware notice just above posts in this section the last update was back in September. Backend updates could happen at any time without notice but I don't believe that's the case since we'd have tons of other such reports.

 

Have you rebooted you base?

I suspect that @spagnel is talking about app updates.  But I think the last app update was October 28th (3.5.8).
