Do you have physical access to the camera, if so and the camera uses a single rechargeable battery then remove it and look for the label inside the battery compartment that starts with VMC.

 

If the camera has four batteries then it is the original arlo wire free model.

 

if the camera has a rechargeable battery and no way to remove it  then the camera is a essential wire free model.
