Dear Arlo Team, 


I need a token reset to connect my Arlo base station to HomeKit.   Model is VMB4000r3, Firmware: 1.24.0.1,  iOS 17.7
I'm stuck on the "discovering your device" screen on the app and not able to connect my system to HomeKit.

I've sent a token reset request to your base station that should resolve the issue. Please reboot your base station (remove and reapply power) allow the base station to come back online and try setting up HomeKit again using these instructions:

Thanks for the quick reply BrookeN I tried resetting/power cycling my base station twice, waiting about 5min to reconnect each time. I also tried logging in and out of the app. When I go to "HomeKit > Setup"...I still see a "Discovering your device. Please wait" screen all white on the bottom, nothing loading or showing. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

You can try logging out of the app and logging back in. And then following the steps I had sent you to see if that helps. If not the only other way around it is to do a full reset of the basestation, but please keep in mind you will need to put the cameras back onto the basestation that way.

It seems to have made things worse. I did a factory reset (2x) now, reinstalled the app, re-logged in, but now I'm not able to add my cameras to the base station again. The app just hangs when trying to add the cameras. When I press the sync button on the cameras I can tell it's connecting to the station via the blinking sequence (as it did the same in the past), but the app is not registering this at all and the cameras don't show up on the web interface either. I'm using older model of the Arlo cameras - could this be the issue? It seems this last version of the app is making things worse. Any other ideas?

I added all the cameras again, but the HomeKit screen in the Arlo app still doesn't do anything.

 

Can you please try re-issuing the token again? Thanks

The token has been reset again.
