My Arlo app updated and now I’m getting notifications that there’s motion detected but my cameras show offline, how do I fix this?

Which UI are you seeing - the old one or the new? I'm finding that the new UI sometimes causes the cameras to appear to be offline but if I wait a while or close the app and reopen it all is well.

What does UI mean?

UI = user interface. The current 4.x apps can display in 2 different ways depending on whether you're a new user or have a security system or Pro 5 camera while the other way is the older way of viewing things. Do you see Library or Feed to see videos? That's the easy way of telling which one you're seeing with Feed being the new version.

ok so I unplugged the base station and plugged it back in it seems to be working fine now but on the base station where the three solid green lines are the middle one flashes i don’t know what that means

Hi All, 

 

the same happens to me. 

 

I have #3 arlo pro cameras + ARLO Pro VMS4330 base station. 

 

the Base station was inaccessible and From the app wasn't possible to access live videos. it doesn't show live and "connection" icon still remain blinking.

 

So I've Updated the app on the iPhone 13, re-done the setup from scratch 

addied the base station and then the 3 cameras but at the moment cameras are still not accessible.

I CAN'T SEE LIVE IMAGES.  THE connecting icon keep spinning and at the end the interface doesn't react anymore to touch to retry.   

 

Really disappointing . 

Does Arlo still support Arlo Pro e VMS4330 base station ?

 

Any HELP

This is normal for the middle to flash...data is being transferred

Is it possible to revert to the old UI after you have moved to the new one?  I updated but my wife has not (she has the primary account) she’s worried that our geofencing settings will be deleted with the new interface.  Arlo Pro 2 cameras and VMB4000 base station.  Very much appreciate the support.

If my wife updates to the new UI do we lose geofencing settings?
