Everything is working OK for the most part, but when I check a recorded 10-second (default) video from a recorded motion activity (for which I was properly notified), the activity is already over ... I'm thinking maybe it started recording too late after the activity was completed ? I got 10 seconds of my backyard recorded but with nothing going on. What's up with that ? Thx.

80, the default. I cranked up the recording time to 30 seconds from 10, and tested the exact same motion and it got most of it then, with about a 2 second delay from wake-from-sleep.

How high is your motion sensor setting?

Mine are set to maximum recording time, but I still have this problem. It was fine before. Now I have motion detected, the camera records and the video shows an apparently empty room, in a property that was meant to be empty at the time. This is more than one camera. When I first got them, they would record a person walking into the room, now they record after that person has left!

You may have bad cameras if you're recording in an empty room.  Of course, make sure that IR bouncing off walls from sunlight isn't causing the issue - maybe stick them in a dark room to verify.

Delayed recording can also be a symptom of weak WiFi between the camera and base.  Just something to check.
