Motion Detection LED

In the "Motion Detection Test" the LED on the Arlo Pro camera blinks orange, to indicate it has detected motion. But I want the same behavior to happen when the camera is in normal armed motion-detection mode (not just test-mode).

 

I want the people seen by the camera to KNOW that they've been seen, as a deterent. Is there a setting for this?

To my knowledge, No.. the test motion light is not an option when the camera is ARMED

And there I thought most of us were trying hard to hide the cameras from view........?!?!

In my past experience, OVERT is usu better than COVERT for the average BG

 

That's why they sell fake cameras with blinking leds  🙂

@TomMac I totally agree -- I'd rather a burgler see my cameras, know they're already caught on video, and leave before even attempting to break in. By hiding the cameras, the burgler gets inside. That's insane.
