Model MVB4000, Arlo Pro I have been trying for two days to get this thing up and running with no luck. I have everything hooked up but the camera light on the base stays amber, which according to the instructions means it is booting, but not for several hours, it does not change, When I went online to try and set up the base it says "No Base detected", both the connection light and the internet light are both green so it is making a connection. The unit is second hand so I was wondering if this might be an issue...the old owner is deceased so they cant delete their account if that needs to be done. I called Alro support and was told that I need to download a file...which said "Security warning...downloading this file might damage your computer...I told the guy I wasnt going to do that, why couldnt he help me over the phone...he said something like I needed the file for them to be able to help me??? I am about ready to shove this thing down the support guys throat!! Can someone who is more computer and technology savvy than myself please help?? Thanks in advance!!

That sounds bogus - did you call Arlo support?

The real Arlo support may be able to help with the deceased issue. There would be no file to download since it's a backend database issue.
