Is there a market for replacement ribbon cables? I have found a place that would make the micro usb plug, cable, and other plug but the initial setup isn't exactly cheap. If there were enough people though, I might do it. I would probably create a kit as you need a t5 and Phillips head screwdriver for disassembly in addition to the cable with the correct plugs at each end making it plug n play with no soldering.

What would a reasonable price be?

Here is a picture of the broken cable in question...

This is the key reason for cameras not charging or not working while plugged in. I have 4 arlo pros and all of them have this issue.

Yes, there is a market. I need two, for now.

In my case the Arlo solar panel connector does not seal correctly and it corrodes. I do need a replacement connector and I have the feeling anyone with solar panels do (or will) too.

Yes, I have the same with some of my 4 cameras.

Been contemplating having a go at replacing them myself, just need to get some of the micro ribbon cable, probably from Aliexpress.

I have successfully fixed one. Working on the second. Had a battery go bad in the mix too! The wires are small and the soldering is tedious but I can point you in the right direction if needed.
