Maximum bandwidth speed for Base Station (VMB4000)

Hello community!

Does anyone know the maximum bandwidth/speed the base station can handle?

Right now my Netgear router is connected to the base station at 100Mbps (100M/Full).  But the router can do up to 1000Mbps (which I think is 1Gbps).   The Cat5E cable connected to the Arlo base station is showing as green on the base station, but orange on my router.  Research has led me to know that is because it is 100M.  

Is this a limitation of the base station?

The Arlo Base Station uses 10/100Mbs connection.
