I seem to be having a playback issue with Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Edge. The problem doesn't exist with Chrome.
With both Edge and IE I have sound but the picture is BLACK for a few seconds before going dark grey. Downloaded the video looks the same but I can watch the cameras live in both browsers without a problem.
I have cleared cache but there is no improvement.
With Chrome I do not have the problem, but live viewing the cameras in Chrome is a problem as it's not relaible and sometimes times out.

I think the problem for IE/Edge lies with Flash.
Chrome, not sure why it would work sometimes and not others

Do you experience any problems when using a mobile device? These issues sound flash related as suggested above. Check to make sure all browsers are up to date and Flash is up to date and enabled.
