Just got the arlo pro tonight

Just got the arlo pro 6 camera system tonight after trying the ring cameras this weekend. Have three cameras set up and excited with the results so far.

I haven't mounted them permanent yet just got them stuck to a few metal lights until I can play with them for a week to find the best spots and make sure their working properly.

Excited to use these cameras and hope the hold up well. This forum is a great resource.

Keep us posted with how you find they compare. Make sure you mount them in spots where the subject is going to go across the field of view. PIR motion detection doesn't work very well with the heat signature moving towards or away from the cameras

What did you not like about the Ring cameras please Sesom?

I'm still researching different options, but lean towards Arlo Pro, especially if they moved to 1080P.

Honestly it didn't pick up motion as good the weekend I was testing it. I think arlo pro has a better image as well. A lot more customization with the arlo pro also. Still learning but I would consider arlo pro over ring.
