Is the Arlo Pro camera compatable with the standard Arlo's base station?

I currently own a standard Arlo camera system and am thinking of upgrading to the Pro model. I found that the base station that comes with that system looks different from the one that came with my standard model. Is the Arlo Pro camera compatable with the standard Arlo's base station? If so are there any trade offs?

The regular Arlo base is fully compatable with the PRO cameras...I'm doing that now

The only features you lose not using the new Pro base is the siren and the option of local record from a usb port... Al the rest of the PRO features work fine.
