Yes.... but in that case you will have a nice conversation piece only
The Arlo and Arlo PRO require and only work with a base unit...
If you want a camera to travel with by itself, there is the Q model which requires local wifi connection ( need pw and id of local wifi ) AND the Arlo GO which you can take anywhere as it is cellular base ( needs cell service where you are )
