If the Electric power goes out will I have to re-sync the cameras when the power comes back on? How long can the power be out before I have to re-sync the cameras. Kind of a pain to climb a ladder and bring the cameras back into the house to sync to the router.

There have been instances where resyncing was needed. However, in most cases it's not needed. The length of the outage can be a problem, however, since the cameras continue to try to connect with the base, running down the batteries. Short outages are no problem but days of outage (or just turning the base off, for that matter) will deplete the batteries noticeably.
A good safety net is a UPS/battery backup that your modem, router and base all plug into. I use a 750VA unit that runs $75-100 which should last at least half a day. If you experience lengthy outages, a bigger unit would be helpful.
