I have two base stations. An Arlo basic station at my home with 2 cameras on it and an Arlo Pro station at my business with 3 cameras on it. I just bought an Arlo Pro camera to add to my Home base station but am being told I cannot add it unless I upgrade so I can exceed 5 cameras. WHAT? I thought the 5 camera limit was Per Base Station. Why wouldn't it be? Am I missing something?

No, the 7 day storage for free is limited to each account, not per base station. You could remove the cameras at work from your primary account, for example and set them up with a different account using a different email adress and grant access from each account to the other one. You will be able to view all the cameras in your app, but arming and setup changes will need to be done on the account that the cameras are linked to.
