Just installled my system and I'd like to stop recording a few seconds after motion stops, how do I do that?

Basically, you can't. You can only record for fixed amounts of time. Set this in the Mode tab, click on your base and edit your modes (Armed by default). Make sure you record long enough to capture as much as you want between 10 and 120 seconds.
