I Can"t Get My Arlo Pro To Connect To The Base Station

Hi there,

New user here. I just bought a 4 pack Arlo Pro camera set and can't get the cameras to connect to it. Classic question, however I can't seem to get the cameras to connect using the method desrcibed.

The base unit shows up in the mobile app, but when I go to "add unit" and try to add a camera, hold down the top button on the Arlo pro for ca 2 seoncs and then shortly after do the same on the camera - the camera just blinks blue with longer signals until it starts to blink amber with short signals to go black. With no sync as an end product.

What am I doing wrong here?

DO NOT hold the sync button for two secs....

A QUICK press on the base and then the camera sync will do.

( old info to hold the button keeps showing up.. in older fw this put the base into a like programing state not sync  )

I tried doing what you said and pressed the top button for as short time as possible. Same behaviour as before though.

Okay guys, deleted the base unit from my account and then added it again. Now it works.
