How to Rename phones for Geofencing

How do I rename our Enabled Devices (my phone, wife's phone) for Geofencing purposes.  We have the same model phone and they are identical in the Enabled Devices list, so I can't tell whose is whose.

I had this same issue since my wife and I have the same phone  

You need to rename the Bluetooth device name.

On my phone (Motorola ) I go to the Bluetooth menu and in the settings is an option to rename device.
