How do I crop the image that the Arlo Pro sees in order to eliminate unwanted motion?

I have a Arlo Pro aimed at the front porch and only want to focus on the steps.  Is there a way to focus the image to just that area?

Go into your app or web interface > settings > my devices > name of camera. Use the Pan and Zoom box to shrink down the area that you see

No matter how you PAN-ZOOM to shrink the area seen, the PIR device that detects motion WILL ALWAYS cover the normal field of view

Thanks for the info on the pir -I was not aware of this fact.

So, I guess why crop the picture since this will not eliminate movement and subsequent alerts?

In my case it is a flag on the front porch that I tried to crop out, but I kept on getting alerts - now I know why.

Guess I either need to reposition the camera or move the flag.
