Have a costco Base VMB4000 and want to add an arlo doorbell and add an outside camera, can I do this and what products are compatible with the base

Yes you can, but since you did not mention how many cameras you already own, if you go over the 5 camera limit, you will need to purchase a subscription. The Doorbell does not count towards the 5 camera limit. Compatible devices with your base are the original HD, Pro and Pro2 cameras, doorbell and chime and the Arlo Security Lights.
