Has anyone hardwired their arlo pro cameras? Do you remove batteries or leave them in?

Has anyone hardwired their arlo pro cameras.  Do you remove batteries or leave them in.  Is this a long term solution?   Does this work?

Leaver the batteries in so power loss allows the cameras to keep working. Of course, that also means you have to keep your base and Internet working so use a UPS that powers your modem, router and base.
