Is there anyway to capure a single image off a video during playback?  Tried pausing and then screenshot, but large PLAY button is right in the middle of the image which makes screenshot useless.  Tried the same on a dowloaded video, but the quality of the video is significantly lower to be of value.

Using Arlo Pro wireless, Mac OS 10.11 as well as iOS 11.

Thank you

most use a third party sw to do screen shots... VLC player does very well on all formats and is free

( takes snapshots too )

Thank you Guru.

I use both quicktime and VLC.  With quicktime I use the the MAC command+shift+4 and identify video image for capture.  The quality of the two techniques seem very similar (resulting .png files slighthly larger with the Mac commands).  The problem/challenge is that the downloaded Arlo video is of lower quality than the one online.  Hence, for recognizing "intrudors", grabbing an image off the video would be dramatically better.... The play button, once a video is paused, is a major obstacle.  Not sure why Arlo needs such large button...

The downloaded video is exactly the same as the cloud version - that's what you downloaded. If it appears to be lower quality, I'd suspect the viewer. Make sure you're using the ltest version.

I was under the impression the downloaded video was a compressed version of the one onlinbe.  If they are the same, I will work with that.
