Flash warning on Safari

When log into Arlo using Safari on MacOS, I get a warning banner at top saying my version of flash is out of date. I do not have flash installed. Does Arlo for macOS require Flash? If so, why would they use Flash with its history of security vulnerabilities on a security camera?

Yes, flash is required and needs to be up to date to use Arlo through a web browser.
