Flag waving and cars setting off camera

Just got the Arlo Pro system last week, and I've had pretty good success, however, for my front porch camera, I've had to take down my American flag because it kept setting it off.  Any ways around this.  Also on the same camera, most times cars are setting off the motion detector.  I've tried zooming in as far as I can but I can't get the road completely out of the view, and maintain my entire walkway.  I've adjusted the motion sensitivity down to 50, but both the flag and cars still set it off.

First, zooming in while making the picture smaller does NOTHING for the PIR device that detects motion... It will still cover the entire field of view.

What you have to do is  change angle or move camera to avoid picking up street and or flag.

The PIR for people is good to a max of 25 ft for people but cars further out as they are good relfectors of IR ( which is how it detects motion )

I usu recommend users cover a smaller area not more than the pickup area to eliminate many false triggers
