I had three cameras, one dropped off. It would not resync. I removed the battery, followed the steps using both the iPhone app, and web to add the device but no luck.
The iphone app usually goes through the process twice before failing.

Hopefully you don't mean you physically dropped the camera. If so, you may need to buy a new one.
Is the battery charged? Have you tried briefly pressing the base sync button (don't hold it for 2 seconds) and then the camera button? You don't need the app to sync a Pro camera.

The camera has failed so it is being replaced
